Enjoy the “black-pilled MAGA chaos.”
In a political soap opera only 2025 could deliver, MAGA hardliner Laura Loomer is seeking a political blood sacrifice from within Donald Trump’s ranks, targeting longtime ally and Trump Attorney General Pam Bondi.
Meanwhile, the movement’s billionaire tech darling, Elon Musk, appears to have finalized his ideological divorce from MAGA’s congressional wing by unfollowing House Speaker Mike Johnson on X.
Epstein MAGA Meltdown
In a viral post on July 7, Loomer called on Trump to dump Bondi over the “Epstein memo.” She wrote: “Hopefully someone at the White House press briefing today asks if President Trump plans on FIRING Pam Blondi” — pun intended. “If she doesn’t get fired over this Epstein memo, people are going to be so black pilled,” referring to the Trump DOJ’s recent claim that there is no Epstein list, and that Epstein died by suicide after years of controversy.
Musk drops Johnson
Meanwhile, as MAGA was chewing on whether Bondi is Deep State adjacent, another bombshell (well, a social media one) dropped. Loomer posted the “👀” emoji above a graphic showing Elon Musk no longer follows Speaker Mike Johnson on X.
The source of this update: A watchdog account called @BigTechAlert that monitors changes in follows/unfollows by major tech figures. According to their post, “@elonmusk is no longer following @SpeakerJohnson.”
This digital cold shoulder follows Musk’s increasingly public rift with Trump-aligned Republicans after supporting Trump in 2024 and acting as an advisor in Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), before publicly splitting with the president over government spending.
Once considered the darling of the New Right for his “free speech absolutism” and fights with the “woke mind virus,” Musk has since clashed with MAGA. He even suggested on X that Trump is on the Epstein list, which Trump’s DOJ now states doesn’t exist – a move some find “convenient.”
MAGA vs. MAGA
So, what do we have? Loomer is demanding a “public execution” (figuratively, of course) of Trump loyalists who aren’t sufficiently conspiratorial. Musk is subtly cutting ties with the legislative wing of Trumpism. And Trump appears caught somewhere between them. One might call it “movement infighting,” but given the stakes, perhaps “black-pilled MAGA chaos” fits better. In the meantime, grab some popcorn.”
