Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra are set to resume shooting for the highly anticipated SSMB29 in August, as the film enters a crucial production phase under the direction of SS Rajamouli. According to India Today, a source close to the production confirmed that cameras will roll again in August. “Mahesh has been undergoing extensive physical training, and Priyanka’s dates have been locked in after long coordination,” the source revealed, adding that this segment will be “intense and crucial for the story arc.”
East Africa and Europe set the stage for global narrative
The team has finalized East Africa as a significant location for the film’s core narrative. “It offers the rugged landscapes and untouched terrain that align with Rajamouli’s vision for a high-stakes, adventurous plot,” the report added.
The August schedule will kick off in South Africa, with subsequent shoots planned across Europe. The team will also conduct a recce in Tanzania, further cementing the film’s global canvas.
This marks the first collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra, adding to the anticipation around the project, which is shaping up to be an international action spectacle.
