The makers believe that a love like this deserves to be shared, so they are encouraging audience to bring their favourite person along to experience the magic of Dhadak 2 at 50% off. As the poster tagline suggests: “Two Hearts, Two Tickets.”
The limited-period deal has already sparked excitement online, with Dharma Productions and Zee Studios teasing the campaign across platforms. Advance bookings for Dhadak 2 officially open this Wednesday.
Starring New Pairing in a New Chapter of Love
Directed by Shazia Iqbal, Dhadak 2 stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri in lead roles. The film explores themes of inter-caste romance and class divides, carrying forward the emotional DNA of the original film, which launched Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter.
While the original Dhadak, directed by Shashank Khaitan, was a Hindi remake of the Marathi hit Sairat, the sequel is reported to be a fresh story and not a remake. Set in small-town India, Dhadak 2 focuses on a university backdrop and youthful rebellion.
In an earlier interaction, Karan Johar revealed that Dhadak 2 is “a deeply personal story of love and courage” and is “very different in tone from the first.”

Shazia Iqbal On Siddhant Chaturvedi And Triptii Dimri’s Chemistry
In a behind-the-scenes video shared by the makers, director Shazia Iqbal gave viewers a glimpse into how that chemistry came to life. “From the first interaction itself, you can see their chemistry,” she said, while highlighting the thoughtful prep that went into building their bond.
Iqbal shared that she initiated workshops with Siddhant and Triptii before filming began. These weren’t traditional acting drills but rather a series of interactive exercises, games, and trust-building sessions. The goal was to help the actors form a genuine friendship, which could then serve as the emotional foundation of their on-screen relationship.
“When that happens, you don’t need to crack chemistry,” Siddhant added in the video. Triptii echoed his sentiment, saying that they clicked right from day one and that made everything easier when the cameras rolled.
Backed by Strong Studio Support and Buzz
Produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios in association with Cloud 9 Pictures, Dhadak 2 releases in cinemas on August 1. Music rights have been acquired by Zee Music Company.
This ticket discount push is in line with recent industry trends, where large-scale films are using promotional ticket pricing to maximize footfalls on opening day. With strong early buzz and a fresh cast pairing, Dhadak 2 is positioning itself as an emotional entertainer with wide appeal.
