Meghan Markle ‘wouldn’t be welcome’ at royal family reunion – We Got This Covered

Prince Harry is looking to finally put the last five years behind him as he slowly but surely rebuilds relationships with his royal kin. Unfortunately an insider has claimed that no matter what Harry does, he will never be able to negotiate a path back for Meghan Markle as she simply isn’t welcome.

Speaking to reporters from the Express.com, an insider has revealed that the future is looking pretty bleak for Meghan as she will more than likely be excluded from any sort of royal reunion. According to the insider the palace is wary of Meghan, “They just don’t trust her,” and it seems like the firm’s position on Meghan’s return is final.

Why doesn’t the Palace trust Meghan?

The distrust for Meghan started way before the couple stepped back from their royal duties and departed for America, although the stuff she’s done since has only further sullied the potential for a relationship between her and the family. The royals are reportedly worried that any conversations had with Meghan could inevitably end up being made public by Meghan for some sort of gain. 

Meghan’s various endeavours are at odds with royal life which was a part of the reason she and Harry left in the first place. Her social media, brands, interviews and other appearances make her a risk not worth taking.

The duchess has aired royal drama publicly in the past with her and Harry’s interview with Oprah and their Netflix show being perfect examples of how private affairs were turned into public gossip. Of course, Harry was equally involved in airing out the royal’s dirty laundry, but it seems Meghan is getting most of the blame.

How will this affect the royal reunion?

So will this be a dealbreaker for Harry? It has to have been something he’s already considered. Surely he never thought he could negotiate a return for him and Meghan to royal life, and that’s assuming Meghan even wants to return! Considering the fallout from Meghan and Harry’s departure from the royal family it seems she doesn’t want to return to that life as much as her in-laws don’t want her there.

There is speculation that this could be the final nail in the coffin for Harry and Meghan’s relationship as Harry very much does want to reunite with his family. He has been very vocal about mending the rift formed between them and now things seem to be moving forward with the much anticipated reconciliation.

Talks are continuing between the two parties although progress will likely be slow. Whether Harry is able to convince Charles to meet with him remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain, Meghan Markle won’t be there either way.
