Yash Raj Films is using a new secret weapon for its biggest upcoming movie, War 2: Artificial Intelligence (AI). While other filmmakers have talked about using this technology, producer Aditya Chopra has already put it to use for the new spy film starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr.
The goal is to make War 2 feel natural for everyone, whether they are watching it in Hindi or Telugu. The makers want the words to perfectly match the actors’ lips in both languages, creating a much better viewing experience for audiences all over India. This makes the movie a true pan-India project.
How AI Is Changing The Game
The way the team is using AI is quite clever. For the Telugu version of the film, they used special AI tools to alter a dubbing artist’s voice so it sounds just like Hrithik Roshan’s. This technology also helps make sure his lip movements look right when his character is speaking Telugu dialogues on screen.
This high-tech approach means that the audience gets to hear a voice that is very close to the actual actor’s, even in a different language. This was already tested in the film’s teaser, and people in the Telugu-speaking regions gave it a very positive reaction.
NTR Jr’s Hands-On Approach
NTR Jr., who is a huge star in Telugu cinema, has been very involved in making the film perfect for his audience. He has dubbed his own voice for both the Hindi and Telugu versions of War 2. On top of that, he also brought in his own team of writers to craft the Telugu dialogues, working with Aditya Chopra to make them as powerful as possible. His direct involvement ensures the film connects well with Telugu-speaking fans.
