First Looks Of Ayushman Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin And Paresh Rawal Are Here, Check Out Characters Of Alok, Tadaka, Yakshasan And Ram Bajaj

The promotional campaign for Maddock Films’ next installment in its horror-comedy universe, Thama, has officially begun with a bang. The studio has unveiled a series of striking character posters, giving audiences their first glimpse into the dark and thrilling world of what is being billed as a “bloody love story.” The posters introduce the four central characters, played by a powerhouse cast including Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal, setting an ominous tone for the Diwali 2025 release.

The Heroes: Humanity’s Hope And A Ray of Light

The posters for the protagonists establish a clear conflict between light and dark. Ayushmann Khurrana is introduced as Alok, who is described with the compelling tagline, “Insaaniyat ki aakhri umeed” (Humanity’s last hope). His look suggests a character burdened with a great responsibility, positioned as the primary force against the film’s central evil.

Complementing him is Rashmika Mandanna’s character, Tadaka, who is presented as “Roshni ki ek hi pehli kiran” (The first and only ray of light). Her serene yet determined look hints at a character who will serve as a beacon of hope amidst the encroaching darkness.

The Antagonist: The King of Darkness

Stealing the spotlight with a menacing and unforgettable look is Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Yakshasan, the “Andhere ka badshah” (The king of darkness). His poster effectively establishes him as a formidable and terrifying antagonist. This aligns with previous reports about the film, which suggest he plays a centuries-old vampire. In a significant move for the franchise, it has also been reported that his character is being set up as a recurring villain who will not be vanquished in this first film, signaling long-term plans for this powerful adversary.

The Comic Relief: A Touch of Tragedy in Comedy

Rounding out the main cast is veteran actor Paresh Rawal as Mr. Ram Bajaj Goyal. His character comes with the quirky and intriguing description, “Jo Hamesha Comedy Mein Tragedy Dhoondhte Hain” (One who always finds tragedy in comedy). This tagline suggests he will play a unique character who likely provides a cynical and satirical brand of humour, a staple of the Maddock horror-comedy universe, while perhaps being tragically aware of the grim reality the heroes are facing. The full teaser, “The World of Thama,” is set to drop tomorrow.
