Karan Johar Accepts The Prestigious Award
In a proud moment captured at the ceremony, filmmaker Karan Johar accepted the prestigious award on behalf of his team. Dressed in a sharp black formal suit, he received the honour from the Honourable President of India, Droupadi Murmu, at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

A Night Of Big Wins For Bollywood

The biggest highlight was Shah Rukh Khan winning his first-ever National Award for Best Actor for his performance in Jawan. He shared the award with Vikrant Massey, who won for his brilliant work in 12th Fail.
The award for Best Feature Film also went to the Vidhu Vinod Chopra-directed 12th Fail, making it one of the night’s biggest winners. Adding to the celebration, Rani Mukerji was honoured with the Best Actress award for her powerful performance in Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway.
