The DHS -party door threatens prisons of the House Democrats who were in NJ Ice Facility

An internal security department’s department has suggested on Saturday that the Trump administration could seek arrests from the House Democrats involved in an incident at an immigration installation and detention of customs application of New Jersey on Friday and accused them of assaulting ice officers.

“I think we should inform viewers that there will probably be more coming,” DHS Tricia McLaughlin’s door told CNN on Saturday morning.

“In fact, we have filming of body cameras from some of these members of Congress, assaulting our ice application agents, including the body of an ice officer,” McLaughlin said.

His comments were in response to a question by CNN Victor Blackwell, who asked if others were arrested on Friday, in addition to the mayor of Newark, Ras Baraka, who was accused of invasion.

Asked if this meant that a congress member could be arrested in connection with Friday’s events, McLaughlin told Blackwell: “This is an ongoing investigation, and this is definitely on the table.”

She added that the ice was in possession of video evidence documenting the incident.

Later, on Saturday, McLaughlin posted a video about X showing chaos outside the detention center, writing: “We will not tolerate aggression against our agents of the ICE Law. By members of Congress or anyone else.”

His comments occurred a day after three members of Congress – the representatives of Bonnie Watson Coleman, Rob Menendez and Lamonica McIiver, all New Jersey Democrats – visited Delaney Hall detention to conduct supervision, according to statements by two of the legislators.

“As members of the congress, we have the legal right to conduct supervision in any DHS installation without notice, as we have done twice this year. During all the stages of this visit, ICE tried to intimidate all involved and prevent our ability to conduct supervision,” Menendez said in a statement on Friday. “This is like nothing I’ve seen before, and I’m shocked and disturbed by something like this in our community.”

And Mciver said in a statement that legislators were received with “contempt, disrespect and ice aggression.”

“From the members of Congress to the mayor of the largest city in our state, there are no version of today that does not show the flagrant abuse of the Trump government’s power,” he added.

None of the three members of the congress mentioned seeing any type of violence against ice officers during his visit to the installation.

And in an X post on Saturday, Watson Coleman denied McLaughlin’s allegations, writing: “The notion that me or any of my colleagues” armed federal officers is absurd. DHS is lying because they know their agents were out of line. ”

“They need to resort to lies because their conduct is indefensible for merits. They can threaten everything they like, but their lies are still lies. We will not be intimidated,” the congressman added.

A DHS gate has referred NBC News to the US lawyer to New Jersey district to comment. A US lawyer’s door, Alina Habba, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Menendez and McIiver’s Gates -Gas Nor did they respond immediately to a comment on McLaughlin’s comments.

Baraka appeared at CNN directly after McLaughlin and called his allegations of aggression “ridiculous.”

“I’m waiting for them to show a video,” he added.

Baraka pointed out that Watson Coleman, 80, is an older woman: “who probably couldn’t raise any of them.”

“None of these people corporated the body,” Baraka added.

The mayor of Newark also denied the accusations that he was arrested on Friday, telling Blackwell: “I was not invading anything. I mean, we are in court, so let’s argue that in court.”
