The Trump government is preparing to accept a Jumbo Juming of Superluxurio 747-8 of the Royal Family of Qatar as a gift to be used by President Donald Trump as the new air force for presidential trips until just before Trump left, according to four sources familiar with planning.
Two of the sources also confirm that the ownership of the plane will be transferred to the founding of the Trump Presidential Library as soon as the president finishes his second term.
According to one of the sources, the agreement will be made according to international and US laws, in compliance with ethics rules. This employee said he will take the plane for some time to be handed over to Trump, but the president will discuss the deal during his visit to Qatar this week.
Another sources said the idea of giving Trump this specific plane is under discussion for “some time” and that when the formal offer was made more recently, the president “joyfully accepted”.

He comes at the head of the first foreign trip of the president of his second term, in which he will travel to Saudi Arabia this week and will also stop at the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
While in Qatar, Trump should make a speech and then talk to American troops at Al Udeid Air Base, according to two US officials.
The Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is expected to accompany Trump during his base stop.
This is the second time Trump has decided to visit Saudi Arabia for his first trip abroad. He chose the same nation as his first stop in 2017 during his first term.
