Raghav Juyal Injures Leg While Shooting For King, Continues

In a remarkable demonstration of dedication and resilience, actor-dancer Raghav Juyal has incurred a leg injury while filming a complicated action sequence for Shah Rukh Khan’s next action-thriller, King. The injury happened late last night during a stunt for an outdoor shot.

Sources on set confirmed that Juyal aggravated the same leg that he had surgery on months prior. During the latest shoot, the actor landed awkwardly following a big jump and immediately felt pain in the knee joint. A medical team was called to the set in real time to administer on-site treatment and painkillers to stabilise the actor.

“He was obviously in pain but didn’t want them to stop filming,” said a close source on set. “It was the same leg they had surgery on – and the main concern was whether the injury had recurred.”

Juyal’s Determination: Echoes of the Kill Days

Despite the injuries and medical advice, Juyal made it clear he wanted to continue filming.

The determination reminded fellow cast and crew of his earlier shoot for Kill, when he underwent a complete shift in image from dancer to action star. Not to mention, in Kill, he experienced physical discomfort along the filming schedule and surprised audiences with his grounded energy and on-screen presence.

“Raghav is going through a major change, whether it’s Kill or King. The guy has a legitimate desire to be treated as a performer, and that’s pretty admirable,” says an industry source.

What We Know About King So Far

King is directed by Siddharth Anand and pairs Shah Rukh Khan up with daughter Suhana Khan for their first-ever cinematic outing together. The action thriller is said to be dark, gritty, and dynamic with high-octane stylised stunts, a global canvas, and emotional beats.

While most details of Raghav’s role in King have been kept under wraps, it’s believed he has some very physical sequences that will demand agility and a lot of grit—perhaps that’s how his surgically repaired leg is feeling on a regular basis.

With explosive action, visuals, and a great cast behind it that includes SRK, Suhana, and cameo roles from many actors, including Deepika Padukone and Jaideep Ahlawat, King is shaping up to be one of YRF’s flagship spectacles for 2025.

In the meantime, production is said to be rechecking all safety measures so that all stunt rigs and sequences have been analysed and verified three times over. The set is operational and has a medical team on standby. It’s said that Raghav has had to manage his pain with pills and physio and is working at limited capacity — but has been able to stay on track.

Box Office Worldwide Verdict

Raghav Juyal‘s pain-defying performance on King’s set is a testament to the actor’s move from reality TV tulip to a legitimised Bollywood action player, one of the few of his ilk at this time. But Raghav’s never-say-die attitude echoes many of Bollywood’s favourite underdog success stories.
