The film will reportedly be directed by JP Tuminadu, the man behind the recent Kannada blockbuster Su From So, and will be produced by the powerhouse banner, KVN Productions.

While Ajay Devgn has mastered comedy with franchises like Golmaal, a full-fledged horror-comedy has been missing from his extensive filmography. According to a source close to the development, this project is exactly what the actor was looking for. The source revealed, “Ajay Devgn is always open to hearing stories from creators all across, and he has loved the idea presented to him by JP Tuminadu. He has asked the filmmaker to come back with a full script, and the next meeting will take place in a month’s time.” It seems the initial concept has already received a green light from the star.

The project is backed by KVN Productions, a major production house from the Kannada film industry, which is also behind the highly anticipated Yash-starrer Toxic. The banner is making a significant push into Hindi cinema, with this film being one of its flagship projects. Their other major Hindi production is Haiwaan, starring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan.
