Ajay Devgn unveiled the much-awaited announcement video for Son of Sardaar 2 on Thursday morning, and it delivers everything fans expected—chaos, colour, and characters full of madness. A follow-up to the 2012 hit Son of Sardaar, the sequel takes the madness from Punjab to Scotland, introducing a fresh setting and a brand-new mix of characters.
The video opens with larger-than-life visuals, tanks on foreign land, and the unmistakable energy of Devgn’s character Jassi making a grand entry. With bagpipes blaring and kilts flying, the action-comedy clearly leans into its Scottish backdrop, marking a quirky shift from the original’s Punjabi setting.

Taking to social media, Ajay Devgn posted the video with the caption:

The announcement video gives a quick look at the entire ensemble cast, including Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Kubbra Sait, Vindu Dara Singh, and others. With loud entries, over-the-top humour, and wild background action, the tone is clearly set for a fun-filled theatrical entertainer.
Poster Drops Ahead of Video Release
The official poster, which was released a day earlier, features the key cast members sitting together on a sofa, hinting at dysfunctional chaos within the group. While the poster didn’t reveal much about the plot, the announcement video confirms that audiences can expect an international adventure wrapped in signature Desi madness.

Son of Sardaar 2 is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and backed by a strong team including Ajay Devgn Ffilms, Jio Studios, and T-Series. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, N.R. Pachisia, Pravin Talreja, and co-produced by Danish Devgn, the film is set to hit cinemas on July 25, 2025.
