BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Get ready for summer nights at the Alabama Theatre.
The summer movie series kicks off June 6 at 7 p.m. And “Hey you guys!” it’s the 1985 classic…’The Goonies.’ So grab your friends and get ready for the truffle shuffle!
Then on June 27 get your poodle skirts, leather jackets, and bobby socks for the Grease Sing-A-Long. Lyrics to the songs will be displayed on the screen during the movie so you can sing-a-long to classics like Hopelessly Devoted To You, Summer Nights, Grease and “You’re the one that I want”.
Children ages two and younger are free of charge.
Seating is general admission, first come, first served.
Doors open one hour before showtime, and the screening will begin with a sing-along accompanied by the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ.
