EXCLUSIVE: Mike Goodridge’s UK-based Good Chaos is gearing up to shoot Anna Biller’s supernatural feature The Face Of Horror in Prague in the Czech Republic in July.

Jonah Hauer-King, Kristine Froseth, Ellie Bamber, Leo Suter and Bella Heathcote will star in the film, which is set in England in the Middle Ages and loosely inspired by the Japanese ghost story Yotsuya Kaidan.

Embankment Films is handling worldwide sales and co-repping domestic sales with WME.

US filmmaker Biller, who also penned the screenplay, is best known for her 2016 horror The Love Witch.

The Face Of Horror follows a knight who marries his long-time love Eleanor, only to get bored of her and instead court a wealthy noblewoman. It is only a matter of time before Eleanor seeks her bloody revenge.

Goodridge and James Bowsher are producing for Good Chaos with Biller while Jared Sanford executive produces. Sirena Film is servicing the film in Czech Republic.

“We have such breathtaking locations and such a stellar cast and crew that I’m a bit stunned by it all,” said Biller. “I’m thrilled to be working with Good Chaos and Sirena Films to bring this beautiful ghost story to life.”

Hauer-King is best known for his role in Disney’s live-action remake The Little Mermaid and Froseth for AppleTV+ series The Buccaneers. Bamber will next be seen playing Kate Moss in the Moss biopic while Sutter and Heathcote both made their names in Netflix series Vikings: Valhalla and Pieces Of Her, respectively.
