Asks ‘Kaunsa Career Khaaya Maine?’

The latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19 had plenty of entertainment, but one segment caught everyone’s attention. Host Salman Khan addressed the frequent claims that he has the power to “ruin people’s careers,” making a strong statement on the issue.

The conversation started when former contestant Shehnaaz Gill appeared as a guest on the show. She requested Salman Khan to help her brother Shehbaz with his career, telling the host, “Sir, aapne itnon ke career banaye hai (Sir, you’ve made so many people’s careers).” Salman, however, used this moment to address both sides of the coin.

Salman Khan Denies Making Or Breaking Careers

In response to Shehnaaz’s comment, Salman Khan immediately stated that he doesn’t have a hand in making anyone’s future. He replied, “Maine kahan banaye hain kisi ka career. Career banane waala toh upar waala hai (When have I ever made someone’s career? The one who makes careers is God).”

He then directly addressed the more serious allegations often thrown at him. Salman said, “Laanchan bhi daala hai ki kitnon ke dubaaye hai. Lekin aaj kal sab chalta hai na ki career khaa jaayega. Kaunsa career khaaya maine?” (People have even mocked me saying I’ve ruined so many careers. These days, it’s become a trend to say, ‘Oh, he’ll finish someone’s career.’ Tell me, whose career have I destroyed?).

Admits To Complacency

Salman Khan continued by saying that if he ever destroyed a career, it would be his own. He reflected on his own professional journey, admitting, “Par agar khao na toh main apna khud ka career khaa jaunga. Kabhi kabhi main complacent ho jaata hoon aur phir chhod deta hoon, aur phir wapas usko apne grip mein laane ki koshish karta hoon.”

This translates to him acknowledging that he sometimes becomes complacent and lets things slip, but then he works hard to bring everything back under control. The conversation took place just before Shehnaaz’s brother, Shehbaz Badesha, was introduced as the first wildcard contestant of Bigg Boss 19.
