When it rains, it pours for the cheating CEO.

We have an update on the Astronomer CEO who was caught canoodling at a Coldplay concert on 4K video that was watched all throughout the world.

There have been a lot of fake apologies posted on X meant purely to troll Astronomer CEO Andy Byron. Some of them were actually pretty funny; one even said that Byron had no apologies to make for being a Coldplay fan (adding that he even likes their newer stuff). Debates on Coldplay’s discography aside, the company finally decided to release an official statement on the now-viral video.

According to The Guardian, Astronomer released a statement relaying that the two leaders’ actions do not align with the company’s values and culture. Astronomer is a company that deals with data management for clients like Uber, helping align various data systems to ensure a smooth transition for users and service providers — it’s unclear exactly how these values would extend to that video, but we’re sure their HR head, Kristin Cabot, could clear that up for everyone, oh wait.

But jokes aside, the company is reportedly not seeing any humor in this video like the recently single Chris Martin, who is now just asking people in his concerts, “Are you also having an affair?” Per Axios, Byron and Cabot have been placed on immediate administrative leave, and the publication even added context that the delayed response was due to Byron negotiating an exit package with a “slow resignation.”

Well, Byron’s job is in trouble, certainly, but how about his marriage? Reportedly, that’s not going so well either. While his wife hasn’t released her public statement yet, she apparently immediately dropped his last name from her Facebook page before she completely disabled her account.

The final participant in this ridiculous turn of events, of course, is the person who took the video itself and posted it online to get tens of millions of views. According to her TikTok, she’s not the least bit apologetic. Nobody likes cheaters, so that’s understandable. The user who first posted the video made her grand return on TikTok with a video captioned, “Returning to TikTok after breaking the internet, destroying multiple careers, and ruining two marriages.”

She then went on to alert her followers that if they wanted to show gratitude for her providing the comic relief of the week, they could help clear her student loan debt of $80,000 — I suppose if that’s your cup of tea, you can follow her for more details on how to do that. The economy is truly in a dire situation in Trump’s America if everything eventually leads back to how people are all just struggling financially. And his megabill hasn’t even fully kicked in to cut people’s healthcare too.

Ultimately though, Byron can’t file any complaint and say anyone was unfair to him. He was having an affair, got caught, and people in his immediate circle are clearly not willing to entertain that. That’s just how life goes sometimes. Hopefully, his wife can find a place of solace and peace during this challenging time.
