He should keep his hands to himself.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor is once again making headlines for the wrong reasons after a reported fight at a nightclub in Ibiza. A widely shared video appears to show the mixed martial arts star hitting another person twice, knocking them to the ground. The video, first published by The Sun and later picked up by TMZ, shows a moment inside Pacha nightclub where McGregor seems to be talking to a man standing below him.

The situation quickly turns violent, with McGregor throwing two fast left punches. The person hit by these punches reportedly lost their balance and fell backward. After the punches, security at the club stepped in right away to calm things down before they could get worse. Despite the seriousness of the alleged attack, reports say McGregor’s night was not really affected.

He was allowed to stay at the club and enjoy his time while the person who was hit was taken out of the building. Police were not called to the scene, and no one was arrested because of the fight. When asked for a comment about the incident on Tuesday, McGregor’s team did not respond.

This newest event adds to a long list of incidents involving McGregor’s behavior outside professional fights. According to MMA Fighting, his past includes a major incident in 2018 when he attacked a bus with some of his associates after an argument with Khabib Nurmagomedov, who was set to be his future opponent. McGregor was later arrested in New York for this incident and eventually pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct charges.

Another serious incident happened in 2019 when McGregor faced assault charges in Ireland. That case also involved video evidence, showing him punching an older man at a bar during an argument. McGregor later pleaded guilty and had to pay a fine as punishment. These past incidents show a repeated pattern of behavior that has drawn criticism from the public and media, setting the stage for the kind of situation seen recently in Ibiza.

McGregor’s return to this kind of trouble comes after a long break from competitive fighting. It has been almost four years since his last UFC fight in July 2021, where he suffered a serious leg break. After a long recovery, he was supposed to return in 2024 to fight Michael Chandler, but a broken toe delayed his comeback.

In the meantime, McGregor has expanded his career beyond fighting, focusing on his part ownership of BKFC, a bare-knuckle fighting promotion, where he has become a well-known figure. He has also announced plans to go into politics, buying an expensive car before saying he wants to run for President of Ireland.
