Jurassic World Rebirth Topples Vin Diesel’s Franchise-Killer at International Box Office

With $560 million worldwide, of which $316 million has come from overseas markets, Jurassic World Rebirth has overtaken the $300 million lifetime international haul of Return of Xander Cage. Produced on a reported budget of $85 million, the movie concluded its run with around $345 million worldwide, which means that it made under $50 million domestically. Perhaps this was the reason why a follow-up never got off the ground, even though one was announced with D.J. Caruso back in the director’s chair.
