Emmanuel Macron’s wife will give ‘scientific evidence’ to prove once and for all that she is indeed a woman – We Got This Covered

The president of France, Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, are set to present irrefutable evidence that Brigitte is indeed a woman after years of non-stop transphobic hatred and rumors were pushed by alt-right grifter and podcaster Candace Owens.

Owens has previously shared her belief that Brigitte was born male, claiming back in March of 2024 that she would bet her “entire professional reputation” on the rumor. Her stance on the matter has even seen Donald Trump tell her to stop speaking.

But now the Macrons have had enough. Speaking to the BBC, the couple’s lawyer, Tom Clare, claimed that these rumors have been “incredibly upsetting” for Mrs Macron and have also been a “distraction” for the French president.

“I don’t want to suggest that it somehow has thrown him off his game. But just like anybody who is juggling a career and a family life as well, when your family is under attack, it wears on you. And he’s not immune from that because he’s the president of a country.”

To disprove the rumors spread by Owens once and for all, Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron are planning to present both photographic and scientific evidence as part of their defamation lawsuit which was brought against Owens earlier this year.

Emmanuel and Brigitte are prepared for a legal battle

The French president and his wife are preparing to provide “expert testimony” according to Clare, although he could not reveal the exact nature of the testimony. He did, however, say that the couple were prepared to demonstrate “both generically and specifically” that Owen’s allegations were false.

Clare called it “upsetting” to think that Mrs Macron should have to subject herself to putting this type of proof forward and to do so in such a public way. However, she is willing to do so in order to “set the record straight.”

The couple’s lawyer was also asked if the Macrons would be providing photos of Brigitte pregnant as part of their proof to which he responded confirming that such photos existed and would be presented in court.

Candace Owens’ response

Owens, for her part, has seemingly doubled down on her position regarding Brigitte’s gender. Although it does look like she might be afraid of this lawsuit. The Macrons filed their defamation lawsuit back in July of this year in which they claim that Owens disregarded all evidence contrary to her allegations in order to push her own conspiratorial narrative.

Emmanuel and Birgitte must prove that Owens knowingly spread false information. Owens’ legal team has responded by trying to dismiss the lawsuit on the grounds that it was filed in the wrong state. If she’s so certain that Brigitte is transgender then why not let it go to court?

Last month Emmanuel explained why he had chosen to pursue legal action, claiming that Owens “knew full well that she had false information,” yet continued to promote it regardless.
