HGTV star Egypt Sherrod is spotlighting her nonprofit organization, 1000 Women Owned, following the cancellation of her and her husband, Mike Sherrod‘s series, Married to Real Estate.

TV Insider reported that Egypt took to her Instagram account on July 20 to encourage her followers to check out her organization, which she launched in early 2025. According to the nonprofit’s mission statement, 1000 Women Owned, which was co-founded with Elizabeth Oates, is “committed to empowering and uplifting 1,000 women-owned businesses by 2030.”

Egypt’s July 20 post featured a picture that showed her posing with her daughters, Kendall and Harper.

In the caption of the post, she wrote an uplifting message about women in business.

“To the woman carrying silent dreams and loud responsibilities… We see you. To the one rebuilding herself in between work calls, nap times, school schedules and quiet tears… We honor you. And to the one who’s been told ‘it’s too late’ or ‘you missed your chance’…They were wrong,” read a portion of the caption. “You can never miss your own becoming. There is no deadline… No expiration on your brilliance. No cap on how far you can go. You still get to grow. You still get to choose yourself. You still get to win. I created a space just for you Not to impress you, but to remind you of who you already are. Powerful. Capable. Ready.”

Then the universe hit us with an Emmy nomination,” read the caption of the post. “Apparently, Married to Real Estate is still making noise—even without new episodes.
