Surpasses Mohanlal’s Thudarum In Just 17 Days
In a massive achievement, Lokah has officially stormed past the lifetime worldwide collections of superstar Mohanlal’s blockbuster, Thudarum. In just 17 days since its release, Lokah has grossed over ₹237 crore globally, overtaking Thudarum‘s impressive lifetime cume of approximately ₹235 crore. This lightning-fast performance has cemented its place in history.
Manjummel Boys Is The Next Target
With this new record, Lokah has now claimed the third spot among the highest-grossing Malayalam films of all time. But it won’t be staying there for long. The film is now just ₹5 crore away from surpassing the collections of the survival thriller Manjummel Boys (₹242.25 crore). Given its unstoppable momentum, it is expected to cross this milestone by the end of its third weekend today.
Aiming For The All-Time Number 1 Spot
The dream run for Lokah doesn’t stop here. The way the film is performing, even the coveted Number 1 spot, currently held by Mohanlal’s L2 Empuraan (₹265 crore), seems within reach. To achieve this feat, the film will need to maintain its strong box office trend into its fourth week. Interestingly, at the Kerala state box office, Lokah has already beaten L2 Empuraan and is now on track to cross the prestigious ₹100 crore club in its home ground.
