Linebacker at the University of Miami involved in a car accident that killed 2 children

Adarius Hayes, a University of Miami linebacker, was involved in a fatal accident that killed a 10 -year -old child in Hayes’s hometown, Largo, Florida.

The accident occurred at 13:45 on Saturday, when it seems that a Dodge Durango collided with a Kia soul while the soul was making a left bend, according to the Largo Police Department. A police door confirmed to NBC News that Hayes was involved in the accident.

Two 10-year-old jabari-jabari sons and Charlie Herbert Solomon Riveria, 4-year-olds were killed in the accident.

Police said several others were taken to the hospital with “serious” injuries. It doesn’t seem like alcohol was a factor in the accident, police said.

“This is a continuous and active investigation, and no additional information is available for release at the moment,” police said.

Hayes was also injured in the accident, said NBC South Florida on Sunday.

Representatives of the University of Miami Athletics Department did not immediately respond to an investigation into Hayes. The semester of Spring of the University of Miami ended on Wednesday after the last day of the final exams.

Hayes played in 12 games for the university as a freshman last year and was described as a ” -chau factor” in special teams on his team profile page. He had four tackles and an interception in the first season as the team’s freshman.
