Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara is turning into an unexpected pre-release phenomenon. Backed by Yash Raj Films and featuring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the romantic musical has outperformed star-driven releases like Sitaare Zameen Par, Sky Force, and Kesari Chapter 2 in advance ticket bookings yesterday and today it has surpassed Raid 2 and Housefull 5, despite still being a days away from its July 18 release.
Saiyaara’s Advance Booking Leaves Big Films Behind
As of July 16, Saiyaara has sold over 1,04,000 tickets across India in PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis at 11 am on Thursday. This is a massive number for a film starting debutants and has crossed so many biggies.
Film will be only second to Stree 2 if we compare its advances with top advances of 2024 and only second to Chhaava in 2025,
